I have been on fluoxatine since 2019 now, and seeing my psychiatrist since then. but I keep thinking that I've never been given a specific diagnosis. I started taking it for anxiety caused by recent trauma but I don't really have that now. now it is just the depression I've had at least since 8th grade. is it just treating depression in general? do I not need to be actually diagnosed with a certain form of depression? should I ask?
