So I have to get a partial thyriodectomy within the next few weeks as a I have a thyroid nodule that is growing at alarming rates and pushing against my throat. What was the recovery like for anyone who has had one? I’m in nursing school and I need to know how many weeks I might have to take off- and my main concern was how long was it until you could talk at least semi normally again? I have to go to clinical and interact with patients soon 😭😭😭
