Desperate for Pain Relief

I work a lot, and for the next few weeks I'll be working overtime. The pain management specialist doesn't maintain or up meds but decrease and get you off of them. Which in a way is good for people who get addicted. I don't get the addiction, never have. And it takes months to find someone to actually listen to you.

It is hard. Doctors can't prescribe pain meds like they used to because people abused them. But people like us with chronic pain that used them just to function are left hurting. Try to find alternative things to help manage the pain. Today I will be using my TENS unit, a heating pad, and the distraction of paranormal TV and Animal Crossing. Also try to find a pain specialist doctor. I found one near me and they got me off narcotics and on to a cocktail of meds that actually work. Gentle hugs
