Hola! Those first few days after hearing about multiple myeloma can be super tough. I totally get it. My tip is lean on your support system – your friends, your family, or also the online communities (here or elsewhere). Take it one day at a time, ask questions, and be kind to yourself. You've got this!

I think if you read the posts here and in other forums you'll see that the important things eventually are remembering to take care of yourself both physically and emotionally. Educate yourself from reliable sources (only!), build a support network, communicate openly with your doctor, and stay positive!

Very tough. And did want to tell kids and extended family until we had a plan, which took research and a bit of time. Be sure to take care of yourself.
