Long-term use of Clonazepam for Anxiety: Anyone else?

I've been on Clonazepam (Klonopin) for Anxiety/Panic/OCD for over 5 years even though you're supposed to only use it short term... My dose is .05 mg to 1 mg per day, so it's small but I feel like it's the only thing that helps calm me enough to function at all. Wondering if anyone else is in the same boat?

      I take it at night for seizure activity and I've been in it for over 10 years now issue

      yes! Been on and off with it for 5 years now too. I’m prescribed .5 mg my dr is trying a different meds on me so I can be more stable and not have to take the klonopin. It’s a very low dose though, so don’t be concerned.

        @Justinerosexx I appreciate you saying that. My prescriber told me not to worry as well since it's such a low dose but I guess I needed to hear it from someone else who's actually taking it ya know?

      I've been on Klonopin for about a year and a half and I felt the same way. The only other thing that helps my anxiety is taking marijuana.

        @finnumfuzzum sadly marijuana didn't work for me other than the first time, as it made me dizzy 😥 And it was a low dose gummy so I was pretty upset about that. I really wanted it to work so I wouldn't have to be on klonopin
